Mission

Compose System is an innovative developer of prepress workflow solutions. With our extensive experience in the printing and publishing industry, we offer to apply our knowledge to provide a productive solution to meet these ever-changing demands in today’s industry.

Company Overview

Compose System is a privately owned company headquartered in Hong Kong.   Compose products are sold and supported through our strong network of dealers across five continents. Founded in 1987 by Tom Sit, Compose has established a reputation as one of the top prepress solutions providers in the Graphic Arts industry.

Compose’s highly focused and talented engineers are passionate about developing RIPs, workflows, and interface solutions. By listening and working closely with our customers, Compose has clearly understood the needs of today’s modern prepress production environments.  We have many productivity solutions for the digital printing market, such as QuickFit, Hang Tag, Labels, books, and variable data engines.

The Core of our product range is our renowned ripping engine, the Express RIP. Compose Express RIP is noted for its high performance, versatility and reliability. Supporting over 200 different output devices, Express RIP drives most of the plate-setters in the industry and today’s digital presses, high-speed colour copiers, digital printers and large-format inkjet printers.

We work very closely with our machine vendors. This has led us to develop a comprehensive range of professional prepress tools and workflow solutions, most notably Express Workflow, our professional prepress workflow system. This leads us to provide cluster printing solutions and load balancing between printers for higher print volume requirements.

Compose is committed to providing prepress solutions that enable our customers to expand their production requirements, reducing the cost of ownership and maximising customers’ benefits.
